There are a total of 4 hog housing structures. Buildings 1 & 2 are 33 years old and serviced by its own lagoon. Buildings 3 & 4 are 31 years old and also has its own lagoon. Each house contains 36 pens which can hold 20 head which totals 720 head per house or 2, 880 head every 20 weeks.
Each building has an Amdas Real Rain system along with all the equipment for the system to operate. There is also an automatic feeding system for each building. New curtains are being installed over the nest 2-3 weeks. Exhaust fans are fully functional and provide adequate ventilation. There are 2 flush tanks per house, along with 1 pit discharge per house. The waste management plan calls for spraying which is conducted using a pump into a designated field.
There are 2 other structures on the property. One is a small 3-sided storage barn and the other is a storage barn which is not utilized at this time.
